Under normal operating conditions, a Kelvinator single-stage variable speed furnace ensures constant comfort because the motor will automatically maintain its programmed level of airflow. Better indoor-air quality can be achieved quietly and inexpensively when set to run continuously. In fact, if you run your thermostat in continuous fan mode, your electricity consumption will be reduced from 500 watts to 65 watts over a furnace that has a standard blower. Variable speed blowers are readily available in the most popular Kelvinator models but it can also be added during installation to almost any model.
